Our Las Vegas, Nevada location is looking for a dedicated Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. This crucial role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, supporting the overall efficiency of our logistics operations. You will be responsible for tracking stock levels, performing audits, and identifying discrepancies to maintain optimal inventory management. The ideal candidate is meticulous, analytical, and committed to upholding high standards of accuracy and safety. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Monitoring stock levels and identifying reorder needs.
- Implementing inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Working with receiving and shipping departments to ensure accurate stock movements.
- Generating reports on inventory status and performance.
- Ensuring proper organization and labeling of inventory items.
- Adhering to all company safety guidelines and procedures.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory control or a similar warehouse role.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform some physical tasks, including occasional Lifting up to 30 pounds.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Willingness to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
