Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Stock merchandise accurately in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders efficiently and accurately.
- Prepare outgoing shipments for delivery, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with inventory control measures.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals in logistics.
- Perform tasks involving lifting, moving, and organizing goods, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance targets.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and carry for extended periods.
- Must be able to perform tasks involving significant lifting.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the proper use of PPE.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is beneficial.
