Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from designated warehouse locations.
- Verify product information against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack picked items securely for shipment, utilizing appropriate materials.
- Operate hand-held scanners to track inventory and update order statuses.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area according to company standards.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Report any damaged goods or discrepancies immediately to a supervisor.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Must be comfortable with lifting and moving packages, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is a plus.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is beneficial.
- Ability to read and understand pick tickets and order specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Commitment to workplace safety and ability to follow instructions regarding PPE.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
