Job Summary:
Are you a meticulous and analytical individual with a passion for inventory accuracy? We have an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Control Specialist in our Dallas, Texas facility. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity of our warehouse inventory, ensuring that our stock levels are accurate, and minimizing discrepancies. You will be responsible for conducting cycle counts, performing physical inventory audits, investigating stock variances, and implementing corrective actions. Your expertise will directly impact our operational efficiency and financial reporting. This position requires a deep understanding of warehouse logistics, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently. You will collaborate with various departments, including receiving, shipping, and operations, to resolve inventory issues. Safety is paramount; you will be required to follow all safety protocols and utilize appropriate PPE. While this role is primarily analytical, some physical activity may be involved, including lifting items up to 30 pounds and navigating the warehouse. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures.
  • Monitor stock levels and report on stock movement.
  • Work with other departments to resolve inventory-related issues.
  • Ensure accurate data entry into the inventory management system.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control strategies.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs on occasion.
