We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our facility in Des Moines, Iowa. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing the flow of goods within our warehouse, contributing to the efficiency of our logistics operations. Key duties include:
- Unpacking, checking, and staging incoming inventory.
- Moving and organizing stock within the warehouse using hand trucks or pallet jacks.
- Retrieving items from shelves according to pick lists or electronic orders.
- Assembling customer orders and preparing them for shipment.
- Ensuring all shipments are properly labeled and packaged.
- Operating equipment safely and responsibly after appropriate training.
- Adhering to all safety regulations, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Maintaining a tidy and organized workspace to optimize workflow.
- Assisting with inventory control activities and cycle counts.
- Supporting shipping and receiving operations as needed.
This position involves significant physical activity, including the ability to perform lifting of up to 50 pounds regularly. A positive attitude, reliability, and a focus on safety are essential qualities for success. While prior warehouse experience is advantageous, we are keen to train individuals with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn about logistics.
