Join our growing team in Orlando, Florida, as a Shipping & Receiving Associate! This multifaceted role is vital for managing the inbound and outbound flow of goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our logistics operations. You will play a key part in maintaining inventory integrity and supporting our overall supply chain success. We prioritize a safe and productive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments.
- Pick, pack, and stage outgoing orders for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks and containers efficiently.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required).
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stocktaking.
- Ensure the shipping and receiving areas are clean, organized, and safe.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Perform physical tasks that involve regular Lifting of items, typically up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or general warehouse operations is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Good physical condition with the ability to handle consistent Lifting and manual labor.
- Understanding of logistics processes.
- A strong commitment to Safety and correct PPE usage is essential.
