Join our growing team in Kansas City, Missouri, as an Order Picker! This role is essential to our logistics operations, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. You will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves using pick lists or scanners and preparing them for packing and shipment. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse stock according to order specifications.
- Utilize RF scanners or pick lists to identify and locate products.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Stage completed orders for packing and shipment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and protocols.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts when required.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy standards.
- Wear and maintain all required PPE.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and interpret product labels and order forms.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, stoop, and reach throughout the shift.
- Must be capable of frequent lifting, up to 45 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to upholding safety standards and using PPE.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse role is preferred.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
