Are you a detail-oriented individual looking for a rewarding career in fulfillment? We are hiring a Fulfillment Associate in Virginia Beach, Virginia! This role is central to our e-commerce operations, ensuring that customer orders are processed accurately and shipped in a timely manner. As a Fulfillment Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving inventory, meticulously picking items for orders, packing them with care, and preparing them for shipment. You'll work closely with our inventory management system and other team members to maintain efficiency and accuracy. Upholding stringent Safety standards is a core aspect of this job, and all employees are required to follow established protocols. We provide necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure your protection. This position involves significant physical activity, including regular Lifting of goods. Success in this role depends on your ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and contribute positively to our logistics team.
Responsibilities:
- Process incoming inventory, ensuring accuracy and proper storage.
- Pick items for customer orders using handheld scanners and pick lists.
- Pack orders with appropriate materials to ensure safe transit.
- Verify order details before packaging and shipping.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment.
- Adhere to all company policies, including Safety and Security regulations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a fulfillment, warehouse, or similar role is advantageous.
- Physical ability to perform tasks including consistent Lifting of up to 45 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Understanding of logistics and inventory management principles.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following procedures.
- Willingness to use all required PPE.
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
