We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your primary objective will be to ensure the smooth flow of goods within our distribution center, contributing directly to our overall logistics operations. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be operating various types of forklifts, including counterbalance and reach trucks, to load and unload trucks, move materials to and from production areas, and assist in inventory management tasks. Adherence to all company safety policies and procedures is paramount. Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory at all times. This role involves significant physical activity, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 pounds. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of your work area and assisting with other warehouse duties as needed. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate counts and proper handling of goods.
- Transport raw materials to production areas and finished goods to shipping docks.
- Assist with inventory control, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all Safety regulations and guidelines, including the use of required PPE.
- Perform pre-operation checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to warehouse operations.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting tasks up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is beneficial.
- Must be able to wear required PPE.
