In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all outgoing shipments are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards. Your duties will include preparing shipping documents, verifying order details, packaging products securely, and coordinating with carriers. A commitment to Safety and accuracy is paramount. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and verify shipping labels, bills of lading, and other shipping documentation.
- Inspect outgoing merchandise for accuracy and damage before packaging.
- Package products securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments.
- Maintain an organized shipping area and ensure compliance with Safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Perform data entry related to shipping and inventory.
- May involve some Lifting of packages.
- Use designated PPE to ensure Safety.
- Contribute to the overall success of our Logistics department.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a similar role is preferred.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and computer systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Familiarity with shipping regulations and Logistics procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
