We are seeking energetic Picker/Packers to join our dynamic fulfillment center in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role is crucial for ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment for our valued customers. You will be responsible for efficiently locating products within the warehouse using order lists or scanning technology, and then carefully packing these items to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. Attention to detail, accuracy, and a strong sense of urgency are key to success in this fast-paced logistics environment. You will work with a diverse range of products, requiring careful handling and organized packing techniques. Maintaining a clean and safe work area, and adhering to all safety protocols including the proper use of PPE, is paramount. This position involves significant standing, walking, and frequent lifting. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from assigned warehouse locations based on order requirements.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Package items securely and efficiently using appropriate materials.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for carrier pickup.
- Conduct quality checks on packed items to prevent errors.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper picking and scanning procedures.
- Keep the workspace clean, organized, and free from safety hazards.
- Follow all company safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and achieve fulfillment goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a picking or packing role is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capacity for lifting up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to following safety procedures and wearing appropriate PPE.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
