Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading and packing slips.
- Verify outbound shipments against orders to ensure accuracy.
- Schedule and coordinate pickups with freight carriers.
- Operate shipping software and ensure data integrity.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners regarding shipment status.
- Ensure all packages are properly labeled and meet shipping carrier requirements.
- Adhere to all **Safety** guidelines, including proper **Lifting** techniques and the use of **PPE**.
- Assist with inventory management and stock checks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any shipping discrepancies or issues.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or **Logistics** is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and basic computer applications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with **Safety** regulations related to shipping.
- Ability to perform moderate **Lifting** (up to 30 lbs).
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
