Are you a meticulous and organized individual seeking a rewarding role in Boise, Idaho? Our logistics facility is looking for a Receiving Clerk to manage the inbound flow of goods. In this vital position, you will be responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and documenting all incoming shipments. Your attention to detail is paramount to ensuring that our inventory system is up-to-date from the moment goods arrive. You will unload trucks, verify packing slips against purchase orders, inspect for damage, and properly store received items. This role is the first step in our supply chain and requires a commitment to accuracy and efficiency. We emphasize a safe working environment and provide the necessary training and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure your well-being. - Receive, unload, and inspect all incoming shipments.
- Verify quantities and quality of received goods against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages.
- Accurately record received goods into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Tag and label inventory for proper storage.
- Organize and stock received items in designated warehouse locations.
- Maintain a clean and orderly receiving area.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely (certification may be required).
- Collaborate with purchasing and logistics teams.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a receiving or warehouse environment preferred.
- Familiarity with WMS and inventory management.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 60 lbs.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced logistics setting.
- Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
