Job Summary:
Our Los Angeles, California facility is seeking a skilled Inventory Control Specialist. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, a cornerstone of our logistics operations. Your duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, performing stock adjustments, and ensuring that our inventory management systems are up-to-date and accurate. You will work closely with warehouse associates and management to identify and resolve issues related to inventory accuracy, storage, and handling. A keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of warehouse logistics are essential for success. We are committed to a safe working environment and require strict adherence to all safety regulations and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role may involve some physical activity, including occasional Lifting.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Manage stock adjustments and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels and identify potential shortages or overages.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Work with the logistics team to optimize warehouse layout and storage.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards and PPE requirements.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar warehouse role.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform moderate Lifting as needed.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Must follow all safety and PPE guidelines.
