Join our team as a Forklift Operator in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and be instrumental in our warehouse operations. You will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to move materials, load and unload trucks, and transport goods throughout the facility. A strong understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory control is essential. This role requires a commitment to safety, adherence to operating procedures, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing freight.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Perform daily inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through proper handling and scanning.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety guidelines and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, such as order picking or packing.
- Participate in regular training sessions to enhance skills and safety awareness.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one).
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Ability to operate various types of forklifts.
- Strong understanding of Logistics and supply chain principles.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including Lifting of goods up to 50 lbs.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
