We are looking for dedicated Fulfillment Associates to join our team in Kansas City, Missouri! This role is essential for ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and swiftly. You will be responsible for picking items, packing them securely, and preparing them for shipment within our modern fulfillment center. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, and we provide all necessary PPE to create a secure working environment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Inspect picked products for any defects or damages.
- Pack orders using appropriate materials to ensure product safety during transit.
- Label packages correctly for shipping and tracking.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards for fulfillment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and scanning devices.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation and surrounding area.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and utilize all provided PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to resolve issues.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prior experience in a fulfillment, e-commerce, or warehouse role is highly beneficial.
- Must be capable of frequent lifting of items weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Good understanding of logistics and order fulfillment best practices.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage workload effectively.
- Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
