*Occupational Therapist – Assisted Living Setting*
_Join a supportive team that feels like family—where your work makes a lasting difference in the lives of older adults._
*About Us*
At Aging in Place, we’re more than a healthcare provider—we’re a close-knit team dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for the older adults we serve. As a small, values-driven organization, we believe in fostering a warm, collaborative culture where everyone’s voice matters and work-life balance isn’t just a perk—it’s a priority.
*Position Overview*
We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled *Occupational Therapist* who is passionate about supporting independence and dignity in older adults. In this role, you’ll work primarily within our assisted living communities, providing personalized, high-quality care that empowers residents to maintain and regain essential life skills.
You’ll be surrounded by a dedicated interdisciplinary team that collaborates closely to deliver holistic care in a calm, welcoming environment—not a busy hospital or rushed clinic. This is an opportunity to do meaningful work in a setting that values relationships, wellness, and a healthy balance between career and life.
*What You’ll Do*
* Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate residents’ functional, emotional, and cognitive needs
* Design and implement individualized treatment plans that support mobility, independence, and safety in daily living
* Provide hands-on therapy that focuses on enhancing quality of life—not just symptom management
* Educate residents, families, and caregivers on practical strategies for home safety and ongoing care
* Collaborate with a compassionate team of nurses, caregivers, and case managers who value open communication and teamwork
* Document care plans and progress clearly and accurately, while maintaining a focus on patient-centered goals
* Participate in professional development with support from leadership who care about your growth and wellbeing
*What We’re Looking For*
* Licensed Occupational Therapist with a degree from an accredited OT program
* Prior experience in geriatric care, assisted living, or outpatient rehab preferred
* Strong understanding of aging-related conditions, mobility challenges, and cognitive decline
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a warm, empathetic approach
* A team player who enjoys contributing to a supportive and mission-driven workplace
*Why You’ll Love Working With Us*
* A healthy work-life balance with manageable caseloads and flexible scheduling
* A small team environment where your ideas and input are valued
* Deeply fulfilling work with an appreciative older adult population
* Opportunities for continued education and growth
* A company culture centered around kindness, respect, and collaboration
*Ready to join a team where your heart and skills make a real difference every day?*
We’d love to meet you.
