This role combines hands-on project leadership with mentorship of project teams and a strategic role in business development and client relationships. You’ll oversee multiple education-focused projects from preconstruction to completion, ensuring alignment with schedule, budget, safety, and quality standards—while guiding internal PMs and superintendents to success. Key Responsibilities Oversee the full lifecycle of K-12 construction projects Lead and mentor Project Managers and support staff Develop and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships Provide direction on project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution Participate in business development, presentations, and proposals Manage subcontractors, vendors, and project coordination Ensure all contract, safety, and compliance standards are met Review and manage bid documents, RFIs, submittals, and requisitions Track project progress, forecast schedules, and report outcomes to leadership What You Bring to the Table 7+ years of commercial construction PM experience Proven experience managing K-12 school construction projects Higher Ed experience is a strong plus Ability to lead project teams, coordinate trades, and build client trust Strong understanding of AIA billing, project budgeting, and scheduling Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Experience with Procore and/or Timberline is a plus Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills Ability to read and interpret construction contracts, plans, and specifications Ideal for a Candidate Who: ✔ Has the ambition to take ownership of a division and drive results✔ Enjoys mentoring others while still leading key projects✔ Wants to work in a culture that rewards professionalism and teamwork✔ Seeks long-term stability with a company that values people over turnover 📩 Ready to build something bigger?If you’re a proven leader in K-12 construction and want to join a trusted firm with values, vision, and long-term opportunity — we want to hear from you.
