You will be responsible for handling a portfolio of Leveraged Acquisition Finance clients and supporting others within the team in all transaction-related, internal, and client facing aspects.
In this role, you will: Support the business agenda while maintaining the highest standards of client relationship and credit management across a variety of sectors / geographies and capital structures.
Ensure timely completion of credit papers and credit reviews through the in-depth assessment of financial and non-financial information, ensuring a thorough and critical analysis of the relevant transaction.
Lead all aspects of portfolio relationship management of performing bilateral, club and syndicated deals with a view to ensuring they are managed in line with regulatory requirements.
Maintain robust portfolio relationship structures to meet the business needs, in line with C&CB and Group standards, the Group's/ Division's Risk strategy and appetite and any external requirements.
Build and maintain good working relationships both internally (including Credit, other C&CB teams and the wider BOI Group) and externally (clients, syndicate banks, private equity sponsors and financials / legal advisers).
Contribute to significant Business and Group projects, initiatives and committees as required What will make you stand out? Highly organised with strong analytical skills While not crucial to apply the following would be a strong bonus! Proven financial and commercial experience along with personal credibility both internally and externally.
Strong business and commercial savvy with financial literacy/detailed knowledge of financial markets Strong track record in corporate banking client/portfolio relationship management, credit management and sales/business development demonstrating substantial experience in lending with exposure to numerous sectors Clear knowledge of the Corporate Banking market in Europe Essential qualifications There are no minimum educational requirements for this role.
More about the team Leveraged Finance is a key business unit within the Specialist Banking unit of the Corporate & Commercial Banking division, with offices in Dublin, London, Paris, Frankfurt, Madrid, Stamford and Chicago.
Its directive is to originate, structure and arrange acquisition debt facilities in support of key private equity clients with assets sourced across the UK, European and US leveraged loan markets.
This is a hybrid role, based primarily at Baggot Plaza, Dublin 4.
We typically ask colleagues to spend a minimum of 8 days per month working in-person to support teamwork and connection.
