We are seeking a certified and experienced Forklift Operator for our warehouse in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This role is essential for the efficient movement of materials throughout our facility, playing a key part in our logistics operations. You will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts to load, unload, transport, and stack materials. Safety is our top priority, and you must demonstrate a thorough understanding of forklift operation safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and proficient in handling materials in a warehouse setting. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Stack and retrieve inventory accurately, ensuring proper placement and stability.
- Perform pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance on forklifts.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Assist with order picking, packing, and shipping tasks as needed.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure correct usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and organization of the warehouse and logistics operations.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including moderate Lifting and occasional support for team members.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse Safety regulations and procedures.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory management is a plus.
- Must be able to work assigned shifts, including potential overtime.
