Job Description: We are seeking an experienced
Database Administrator (DBA)
to provide infrastructure support for multiple SQL Server database environments supporting complex enterprise applications. The role involves maintaining database performance, ensuring high availability, managing backups, and supporting disaster recovery strategies. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in
SQL Server administration, database monitoring, performance tuning, security, and high availability environments . Key Responsibilities • Provide database administration support for SQL Server environments (SQL Server 2016 and above) • Monitor database performance, storage utilization, and overall health of database systems • Support High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) environments • Manage and monitor database backups, restore processes, and recovery procedures • Install and apply SQL Server patches, service packs, and upgrades in development and test environments • Monitor and support clustered database environments and replication setups • Execute scripts to create or modify database objects such as tables, views, indexes, and constraints • Monitor database jobs and scheduled processes across development, test, and production environments • Identify and resolve database performance, connectivity, or downtime issues • Manage database storage and perform space allocation and fragmentation management • Configure and run database integrity checks to ensure data reliability • Maintain and update database documentation, standards, and procedures • Follow established database security and compliance standards Required Skills • 4+ years of experience in SQL Server Database Administration • Experience working with SQL Server 2016 or newer versions • Strong experience with High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions • Experience with Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) in SQL Server • Knowledge of database backup, recovery, and monitoring tools • Experience supporting clustered environments and replication • Ability to troubleshoot database performance and operational issues • Experience with patch management, upgrades, and database maintenance
