Nursery Practitioner

Position Type: Permanent | Monday – Friday | 40 hours per week

Salary: £13.01 per hour

Footsteps Nursery Cannock is conveniently located in Orbital Plaza on Bridge Street, Cannock, right by the iconic Holiday Inn Tower. With fantastic transport links to the A5, A460, A34, and M6 Toll, commuting is a breeze for both staff and families from neighboring towns and villages.

As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you will:

• Deliver engaging learning experiences and planned activities for a key group, providing outstanding opportunities for children.
• Collaborate with your team to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children.
• Partner with parents to meet the developmental outcomes for children.
• Assess and report on children's progress to support their continued growth.
• Bring passion and inspiration to your role, working effectively within a team.
• Foster a fun, caring, and friendly environment.
• Promote a high-quality learning atmosphere.

What we need from you:

• A genuine passion and commitment to working in childcare.
• Ability to work shifts between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with a minimum of 30 hours per week.
• A commitment to continual professional development.
• Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Relevant qualifications such as NNEB, BTEC National Diploma, CACHE Diploma in Childcare, NVQ Level 2 or 3, or EY Educator.
