Join our dynamic team in Cincinnati, Ohio as a Material Handler! This critical role supports the smooth flow of materials within our warehouse, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all operations. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products. Key duties include operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining an organized inventory. This position requires physical stamina, including frequent **lifting** of heavy items up to 60 lbs, as well as steady hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. **Safety** is our top priority; all Material Handlers must be proficient in safe equipment operation, wear appropriate **PPE** (including steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and gloves), and strictly follow all **safety** procedures. Experience with warehouse **logistics** and inventory management is essential. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Move and store materials within the warehouse.
- Pick and stage materials for production or shipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance.
- Adhere to all **safety** regulations and wear required **PPE**.
- Assist with **logistics** planning and workflow optimization.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Ability to perform heavy **lifting** (up to 60 lbs).
- Strong understanding of warehouse **logistics** and inventory control.
- Excellent **safety** record and commitment to following procedures.
- Proficiency in **PPE** usage.
