Are you looking for an exciting opportunity in the logistics industry? We are seeking an Order Picker for our facility in Huntsville, Alabama. As an Order Picker, your primary role will be to accurately and efficiently select products from our warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This position is critical to our supply chain, ensuring timely and correct order fulfillment. You will operate with state-of-the-art scanning technology and work collaboratively with our warehouse team. Safety is paramount; we provide all necessary PPE and thorough training on our safety procedures. Responsibilities:
- Retrieve specified items from warehouse shelves using order lists or RF scanners.
- Verify picked items against order details for accuracy.
- Pack items securely and appropriately for shipment.
- Stage completed orders for loading and transport.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all warehouse safety guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counts.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely when required.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors immediately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform consistent physical activity, including lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Previous order picking or warehouse experience is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of general logistics principles.
- Knowledge of and adherence to safety regulations and the use of PPE.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
