As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. This position is vital to our operations, ensuring that our customers receive the correct items in a timely manner. You'll work within our busy distribution center, utilizing scanning technology and other tools to fulfill orders. Safety is paramount in our warehouse, and we provide all necessary PPE to ensure a secure working environment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order sheets or scanner system.
- Pack picked items into appropriate containers, ensuring they are secure for transit.
- Operate electric pallet jacks and other equipment as needed.
- Verify order accuracy before and after picking.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines and procedures.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock management.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking role is advantageous.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and the proper use of PPE is required.
- Basic understanding of logistics and inventory management.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Team player with good communication skills.
