Your duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, performing stock adjustments, and ensuring the integrity of our inventory data. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles. You will work closely with warehouse associates and management to implement inventory control procedures and identify areas for improvement. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Process inventory adjustments and transfers within the WMS.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify slow-moving or obsolete stock.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures.
- Ensure the accuracy of receiving, put-away, picking, and shipping data.
- Generate inventory reports and analyze trends.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to improve inventory accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper lifting techniques and the use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform moderate lifting (up to 30 lbs).
- Knowledge of inventory control techniques and best practices.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safety and the correct use of PPE.
