We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Provo, Utah. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your primary focus will be on tracking stock levels, conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing solutions to improve inventory accuracy. This position is essential to our overall logistics operations, ensuring that we have the right products in the right place at the right time. You will work closely with warehouse associates and supervisors to identify and resolve inventory issues. Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to Safety are vital. Responsibilities include performing cycle counts, reconciling inventory records, analyzing data to identify trends, and making recommendations for process improvements. You will also be responsible for reporting on inventory accuracy and other key metrics. While much of the role involves data analysis and system updates, some physical tasks may be required, including occasional Lifting and moving of inventory items. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
- Analyze inventory data and report on key performance indicators.
- Implement procedures to improve inventory accuracy and control.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff on inventory-related issues.
- Ensure adherence to all Safety protocols and proper PPE usage.
- Assist with the physical management of inventory, including occasional Lifting.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in inventory control or a similar role.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to perform light physical tasks and occasional Lifting.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
