Our growing logistics team in Atlanta, Georgia, is looking for a dedicated Shipping & Receiving Associate. In this critical role, you will manage the flow of goods into and out of our warehouse, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at every step. Responsibilities include receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, stocking received goods, processing outbound orders, and coordinating with shipping carriers. You will be instrumental in maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring that all shipments are processed correctly and on time. A strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics is crucial. Safety is paramount in our facility. You will be required to follow all safety regulations and wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety shoes and vests. This position involves significant physical activity, including regular bending, stooping, and Lifting of packages and materials up to 50 pounds. Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks is a strong asset. Proficiency in using warehouse management software (WMS) and computer systems is required. We seek individuals who are highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent problem-solving skills. Teamwork and effective communication are vital for success in this role.
