Join our dynamic warehouse team in Detroit, Michigan, as an Order Picker! We are looking for energetic and reliable individuals to accurately and efficiently fulfill customer orders. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse, locating products, and preparing them for shipment. A strong emphasis on Safety and teamwork is crucial. We are committed to maintaining a safe work environment and expect all employees to adhere to established Safety procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). - Accurately picking customer orders using handheld scanners or pick lists.
- Locating products within the warehouse efficiently and safely.
- Packing items securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Moving inventory to designated staging areas for shipping.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace to ensure operational efficiency.
- Adhering to all company Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Properly using required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Must be able to perform tasks involving frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance targets.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices is essential.
- Experience with RF scanners and order picking systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of basic logistics is beneficial.
- This role offers consistent hours and opportunities for overtime.
