Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and efficiently to move, stock, and retrieve inventory.
- Load and unload trailers and containers accurately and securely.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Organize warehouse storage areas to optimize space and accessibility.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and team members to meet operational targets.
- Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse floor and equipment.
- Follow all regulations pertinent to materials handling and warehouse logistics.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification required.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Thorough understanding of warehouse operations and logistics procedures.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and accident prevention.
- Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work different shifts if required.
- Knowledge of WMS is a plus.
