You'll be responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment, ensuring our customers receive their orders correctly and efficiently. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse shelves using a pick list or scanner.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Use scanning equipment to track inventory movement.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for outbound shipment.
- Assist with maintaining inventory levels and reporting discrepancies.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of appropriate PPE.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned to support logistics operations.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 30 pounds.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment is beneficial but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
