We are recruiting an Order Picker to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama. This position is critical to our logistics operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently fulfilled. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for navigating our warehouse to retrieve specific items requested on customer orders. Accuracy and speed are key to success in this role. You will utilize scanning equipment to track inventory and ensure that all picked items match the order details. This job requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team member. The environment is fast-paced, and you should be comfortable with physical activity, including frequent walking, bending, and lifting. We are committed to maintaining a safe workplace, and all employees are expected to follow safety procedures diligently and utilize the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). - Locate and retrieve specific items from warehouse shelves based on order lists.
- Verify product identification and quantities before confirming picks.
- Use RF scanners or other devices to track inventory movement.
- Ensure accuracy in order fulfillment to minimize errors.
- Report any discrepancies or stock issues to supervisors.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, such as stocking or cycle counting.
