Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for accuracy? We are looking for an Order Picker to join our logistics team in St. Louis, Missouri. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment. This position is critical to ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the efficiency of our warehouse operations. Your ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure will be highly valued.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists or scanner instructions.
- Inspect picked items for quality and accuracy before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Label packages with appropriate shipping information.
- Stage packed orders for outgoing shipments.
- Maintain an organized and clean picking and packing area.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including stock counts and location verification.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Support overall logistics operations and contribute to team goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Commitment to safety practices and the proper use of PPE.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential for this role.
