We are seeking a dependable Material Handler to join our logistics team in Denver, Colorado. As a Material Handler, you will be instrumental in supporting the efficient flow of goods within our facility. Your primary duties will include receiving, identifying, staging, and preparing materials for shipment. This role requires physical capability, including frequent Lifting of materials, and a strong dedication to maintaining a safe working environment. You will be responsible for operating various material handling equipment and adhering to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Receive and unpack incoming materials, verifying contents against orders.
- Sort and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and prepare materials for outgoing shipments accurately.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as required.
- Conduct routine inventory checks and assist with stocktaking.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety regulations and guidelines.
- Wear and correctly use all required PPE at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations and meet logistical goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Familiarity with basic warehouse equipment.
- A strong understanding and commitment to workplace Safety.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
- Reliable and punctual.
