Join our growing logistics team as a Warehouse Worker in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania! We are seeking energetic and dependable individuals to contribute to the efficient operation of our distribution center. Your role will involve a variety of tasks essential to our supply chain, including receiving and stocking merchandise, picking and packing orders accurately, and preparing shipments for delivery. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, scan, and store incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick items from shelves based on order fulfillment requests.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labeling and staging.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stocktaking.
- Operate manual and powered warehouse equipment as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve daily operational goals in logistics.
- Report any safety hazards or operational issues to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory; training provided.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, stooping, and kneeling for extended periods.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
- A firm commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all guidelines.
