Are you ready to be a key player in our fulfillment operations in the heart of New York City, New York? We are seeking a dedicated Fulfillment Associate to join our energetic team. This role involves efficiently processing online orders, from picking and packing to shipping, ensuring our customers receive their items quickly and accurately. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment where teamwork and precision are essential. This is a great chance to work within a growing e-commerce logistics network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for carrier pickup.
- Receive and process incoming inventory, ensuring proper documentation and storage.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to Safety guidelines.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Conduct inventory checks and assist with stock management.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily fulfillment targets.
- Report any damages, discrepancies, or potential hazards.
- Wear all required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) diligently.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order fulfillment or a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of packages, often exceeding 30 lbs.
- Familiarity with e-commerce fulfillment processes and basic logistics concepts.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety standards and wear PPE.
