We are seeking a reliable Material Handler to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina. You will play a key role in the movement and organization of goods within our warehouse, contributing to the efficiency and Safety of our logistics operations. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming materials and products.
- Transport materials within the warehouse using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other equipment.
- Stage materials for shipment or further processing.
- Assist with inventory control by accurately scanning and recording material movements.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently, following all Safety guidelines.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or safety hazards to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with housekeeping standards.
- Participate in inventory counts as required.
- Wear and utilize appropriate PPE consistently.
- Support the overall logistics flow and team objectives.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred. Ability to operate material handling equipment safely. Physical stamina for manual tasks, including regular Lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Understanding of warehouse Safety procedures. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Must wear required PPE. Basic computer skills for inventory tracking. Reliability and punctuality are essential. Familiarity with general logistics and shipping processes is a plus. This position requires a commitment to Safety and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will be hardworking and dedicated to contributing to the smooth functioning of our warehouse. Your role is integral to our logistics success.
