We are hiring a skilled Picker/Packer to join our bustling warehouse in San Jose, California. - Locating and retrieving specific items from warehouse shelves based on order pick lists or digital systems.
- Verifying picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Packaging selected items securely and appropriately for transit, using various packaging materials.
- Labeling packages correctly for shipping.
- Processing orders through our warehouse management system (WMS).
- Maintaining a fast-paced picking and packing pace while upholding quality standards.
- Adhering to all warehouse safety protocols and wearing required PPE at all times.
- Keeping the picking and packing areas clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Reporting any inventory discrepancies or damaged items to supervisors.
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure efficient workflow.
This position requires the physical ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds and to stand and move for extended periods. Excellent organizational skills and a focus on detail are essential. Prior experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse or logistics role is highly desirable.
