Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from various warehouse locations according to order tickets.
- Inspect items for quality and ensure correct quantities are picked.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain an organized and clean workstation.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including wearing required PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, such as receiving or stocking.
- Contribute to team goals for order fulfillment speed and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Attention to detail is crucial for order accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for the duration of the shift.
