Our Raleigh, North Carolina distribution center is seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our expanding logistics team. This is a critical role contributing to the efficient flow of goods through our facility. Responsibilities will include receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping of products, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. The ideal candidate is reliable, possesses a strong work ethic, and can thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will operate warehouse equipment and must adhere to all safety protocols. Your role is essential in maintaining inventory integrity and meeting customer expectations. We prioritize a safe work environment, requiring all employees to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and comply with all safety regulations. This position requires physical capability, including regular lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments accurately.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for timely shipment.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided).
- Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts and system updates.
- Ensure the warehouse environment is clean, organized, and safe.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including consistent use of PPE.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
- Understand and implement efficient warehouse logistics practices.
- Perform tasks involving regular lifting and physical exertion.
- Identify and report potential safety hazards or operational issues.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous warehouse or logistics experience is advantageous.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to adhering to all safety guidelines and using PPE.
