Our dynamic logistics center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma is looking for a dedicated Picker/Packer to join our team. In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders and preparing them for shipment. This includes locating products within the warehouse, verifying quantities, and packing items securely and efficiently. A strong commitment to accuracy and speed is required, alongside a dedication to workplace safety. You will be required to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times and must be able to perform tasks involving manual lifting of up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Verify product codes and quantities against order details.
- Pack items securely and efficiently to prevent damage during transit.
- Stage completed orders for shipping.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks as needed.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damages to supervisors.
- Meet productivity targets for picking and packing.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse setting is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and scanner instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and reach for extended periods.
- Capacity for manual lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with basic logistics procedures is a plus.
