We are looking for a diligent Picker/Packer to join our state-of-the-art logistics facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. In this role, you will be essential in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately picking items from inventory based on order sheets and efficiently packing them for shipment. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Verify picked items against order lists to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipping.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, including PPE requirements.
- Report any discrepancies or damaged items to supervisors.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock replenishment as needed.
- Operate picking equipment safely and efficiently.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to lift and maneuver items up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and the use of PPE.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
