Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding career in the logistics industry? Our Distribution Center in Austin, Texas is hiring a dedicated Distribution Center Associate. In this role, you will be involved in various warehouse operations, from receiving goods to preparing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Stock and organize products within the distribution center using appropriate equipment.
- Pick and pack customer orders with speed and precision.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently (certification may be required).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Ensure all activities comply with company safety standards and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Tasks will involve regular Lifting of items, potentially up to 60 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting preferred.
- Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment is a plus.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor, including frequent Lifting.
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Familiarity with logistics operations.
- A strong commitment to workplace Safety and the correct use of PPE is essential.
