Seeking a motivated Order Picker to join our growing team in Durham, North Carolina. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately selecting products from our warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is crucial for maintaining customer satisfaction and ensuring the smooth operation of our **logistics** department. You will use handheld scanners to track inventory and ensure accuracy. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on order sheets and pick lists.
- Utilize handheld scanners to manage inventory and track order progress.
- Transport picked items to packing and shipping stations.
- Verify item quantities and product accuracy before staging.
- Assist with **Lifting** of merchandise weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Follow all **safety** protocols and **PPE** guidelines diligently.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and audits.
- Contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our **logistics** operations.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet order fulfillment targets.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is advantageous.
- Capability to **Lifting** and carrying items up to 40 pounds.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with **logistics** processes.
- Strong commitment to **safety** and adherence to **PPE** requirements.
- Good communication skills.
