Our Denver, Colorado distribution center is looking for a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient preparation of outgoing shipments. This includes verifying order details, packaging products securely, generating shipping labels, and coordinating with carriers. Your role is critical to ensuring that our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. We need someone who is organized, meticulous, and committed to maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency in our shipping operations. Responsibilities:
- Verify outgoing orders against shipping manifests.
- Package items securely and appropriately for transit.
- Generate shipping labels and documentation using company software.
- Coordinate with freight carriers for pickup and delivery schedules.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area.
- Conduct quality checks on outgoing shipments.
- Report any shipping discrepancies or damages promptly.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Proficiency with shipping software and basic computer skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
