Our Atlanta, Georgia facility is seeking a meticulous Inventory Clerk to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting cycle counts, and investigating discrepancies. Your attention to detail and organizational skills are vital to ensuring the integrity of our stock. You will work closely with warehouse staff to ensure that inventory data is precise and up-to-date, which is crucial for efficient operations and timely order fulfillment. This position offers a stable environment for individuals passionate about accuracy and warehouse management.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Track the movement of stock within the warehouse.
- Assist in identifying damaged or expired goods.
- Prepare inventory reports for management.
- Coordinate with receiving and shipping departments on inventory matters.
- Ensure adherence to all company policies and Safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar inventory control role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with WMS software and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
