Responsibilities:
- Retrieve specified items from warehouse shelves using order sheets or scanning devices.
- Confirm item identification, quantity, and quality before staging for shipment.
- Safely operate equipment such as forklifts (if certified) and pallet jacks.
- Maintain the tidiness and organization of picking areas and equipment.
- Identify and report any stock discrepancies or damages.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve picking and packing targets.
- Follow all warehouse protocols, including those related to safety and inventory management.
Qualifications:
- GED or High School Diploma required.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse work preferred.
- Capacity to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulousness.
- Must be able to remain on your feet for the duration of your shift.
- Basic understanding of warehouse procedures and inventory systems is advantageous.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules as operational needs dictate.
