Are you a detail-oriented individual looking for an exciting opportunity? We are seeking a Picker/Packer to join our team in Kansas City, Missouri. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items for customer orders and carefully packing them for shipment. Your efficiency and accuracy directly impact our customer satisfaction and the overall effectiveness of our logistics operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Label packages correctly for shipping.
- Maintain an organized and clean packing station.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and moderate lifting (up to 30 lbs).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of shipping procedures.
- Willingness to use provided PPE.
This role requires standing for extended periods and requires careful handling of products. We emphasize safety and ensure all team members are provided with and trained on the use of appropriate PPE. A foundational understanding of logistics and order fulfillment processes will be beneficial. Come be a part of our efficient operation!
