Join our logistics team as an Order Picker in Indianapolis, Indiana! This dynamic role is central to our fulfillment process, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently prepared for shipment. You'll be responsible for navigating our warehouse, locating specific items, and ensuring they are ready for the packing and shipping stages. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on customer order forms.
- Utilize RF scanners and other technology to track inventory and pick orders.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare picked items for the next stage of the fulfillment process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Operate pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment safely.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, supporting overall logistics.
- Perform tasks involving regular Lifting of packages and products, up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse work is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret order lists and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform tasks requiring repeated Lifting.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics concepts.
- Willingness to follow Safety protocols and utilize provided PPE.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
