This is a vital role where you'll be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking customer orders and preparing them for shipment. You'll work with a team to ensure that products are correctly identified, picked from their designated locations, and packaged securely to prevent damage during transit. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists using scanning devices.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Package items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate boxes and packing materials.
- Label packages for shipment according to company and carrier standards.
- Operate pallet jacks and hand trucks for moving merchandise.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Contribute to team goals for order fulfillment and accuracy.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, such as restocking or cycle counting.
- Be prepared for tasks involving Lifting of packages up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is a plus.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Experience with scanning equipment is beneficial.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics principles.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and quality.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- Capability for regular Lifting.
